Elizabeth Na - Your Personal CFO

Guiding life's financial decisions with clarity, confidence, and care.

Helping individuals and families make wise financial decisions through every stage of life.

Integrating tax insight, investment strategy, and thoughtful planning.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, hardworking individuals who have built meaningful lives and now want clarity and confidence in the financial decisions that shape their future.

Financial planning first came to life for me at my father's wooden desk, where he carefully mapped out our family's future on a sheet of white paper.

That moment shaped not only our journey to America, but also my lifelong belief that thoughtful planning can transform lives.

A Lifetime of Planning - A Personal Story

I was born and raised in Taiwan to parents who came from China during the Great Retreat of 1949. My mother was barely seventeen and had spent much of her childhood hiding from bombings. My father was a college sophomore when the war broke out and left school to join the army. Together, they rebuilt their lives in Taiwan, working tirelessly to give their children opportunities they never had.

Education meant everything to them.

I still remember one evening when I was in junior high. My father gathered the four of us around his wooden desk and spread out a large sheet of white paper. With a pencil, he carefully drew a timeline, mapping out the years when the three oldest children would all be in college at the same time. He studied the numbers quietly, determined to make it work.

That same desk was also where he first planted another idea in our minds-that one day we might come to America. Years earlier, the government had sent him to study for two years at a cadet academy in Georgia. That experience left a deep impression on him. From then on, he often spoke about the opportunities he believed America could offer, and he carried that vision for our family long before it became reality.

Years later, that vision became true.

A mountain covered in fog and trees on a cloudy day

After coming to America, I built my life in Cincinnati, where I have lived for more than forty years. Like many immigrants, I faced the challenges of learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, raising a family, and building a career.

Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients who entrusted me with the financial details of their lives. Many have been with me for decades. They opened their books to me-financially and personally-and allowed me to guide them through important decisions about taxes, investments, business growth, and major life transitions.

The life I enjoy today is more than fulfilling my father's dream. It is living the American dream-where hard work, perseverance, and thoughtful planning make it possible to build the life you truly want.

For the past twenty years, I have provided financial planning and investment management primarily for my tax clients. Today, I am expanding my wealth management practice with a deeper focus on proactive and comprehensive financial planning.

I work with individuals and families to help them navigate life's important financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

I also have a special heart for women facing major life transitions-divorce, the loss of a spouse, retirement, career changes, or other significant shifts. Having experienced divorce myself, I understand how overwhelming financial decisions can feel during these moments. I also recognize how easily women without financial experience can be placed at a disadvantage, which is why I care deeply about helping them gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial future.

Too often, I have seen women unknowingly agree to financial arrangements that may look fair on the surface but can significantly affect their long-term security. Helping them understand the full financial picture and make confident, informed decisions is work that is deeply meaningful to me.

That simple exercise my father did on a sheet of white paper left a lasting impression on me. It showed me how thoughtful planning can shape a family's future. Over the years in my career as a CPA, I have had the privilege of helping many clients plan for and navigate important moments in their lives.

What kind of future are you hoping to create-and have you taken the time to thoughtfully plan for it?

If this is something you've been thinking about, I would welcome the opportunity to have a conversation with you.
